Why Raw?

Dogs are built for raw – it’s really that simple. A fresh, unprocessed diet supports healthier digestion, shinier coats, cleaner teeth, and all-round better wellbeing. Our meals are made using only human-grade ingredients in our DEFRA-approved facility, so you can trust that what’s going into the bowl is the real deal.

How to Feed?

Every dog is unique, with different personalities and nutritional needs. A guideline for feeding your adult dog is to provide 2–3% of their ideal body weight daily. This can vary based on breed, age, and health. It's best to divide this into one or two meals to help manage weight and support digestive health.

What to feed?

If you’re feeding Raw Treat Pet Food, you’re on the right track. Our 80/10/10 meals contain 80% meat, 10% bone, and 10% offal, all double-minced for easy feeding. We recommend varying proteins weekly for nutritional balance, to prevent sensitivities, and to support digestion and overall health.

How to transition

You can make an immediate transition (many dogs adapt exceptionally well), or opt for a more gradual approach if your dog has a sensitive stomach or tends to be picky. For a cold turkey switch, simply discontinue the current food and introduce raw at the next meal.

For a gradual transition, begin with a mix of ¼ raw and ¾ current food, then progressively increase the raw portion over the course of 3–4 days. Adjust according to your dog's comfort—some settle in quickly, while others may take a bit more time.

Tips for success

  • Monitor your dog's weight regularly and adjust their portion sizes as necessary.
  • Introduce new proteins gradually, one at a time.
  • Ensure that the food is served fully defrosted, and always provide access to fresh water.
  • Prioritise hygiene by keeping surfaces, bowls, and your hands clean.
  • Feeding raw doesn’t have to be complicated.
  • With the right food and some helpful guidance, you’ll be on the right path.
